About

The mission of the Arnold Mill PTA is to support and improve the school and all of its students and staff. In recent years, the AMES PTA has successfully fundraised for, planned and installed the following large-scale school improvements:

• a paved quarter-mile track

• a digital sign for the front of the school

• a secondary playground

In addition to these projects, the PTA dedicates over $10,000 each year to teacher grants, which are available to all full-time teachers. These grants allow teachers to purchase additional items for their classrooms to be used within the same school year (and beyond).

PTA fundraising also supports the numerous events that are held at school throughout the year including;

• Support for the Fall Fun Run

• Bingo Night

• Support for the Holiday Giving Tree event

• Two school dances each year

• Grandparents Event

• Donuts with Dear Ones event

• Spring Festival

• Support for field days

• 5th Grade Graduation festivities
